4 Different Ways to Shutdown Windows 10 PC

1. Use keyboard shortcuts 

There are lots of shortcut key combinations you can use to shut down your Windows 10 PC anytime even if your PC got stuck or frozen.

It is very helpful in that situation,

1. Alt + F4

These keyboard shortcuts are helpful when you need to shutdown the PC quickly but need to close all opened tabs one by one and save any unsaved files before completing the shutdown process.

When you press the Alt + F4 key the you opened windows will closed one by one and you need to keep pressing the Alt + F4 keys until the main shutdown windows open

Once the main shutdown windows open then select shutdown and press ok.

2. Ctrl+ Alt + Delete

When you press the Ctrl + Alt + delete key then you will a windows separate windows open and show you the shutdown option in the fourth row.

Click on the shut down option and press ok if confirmation windows open.

2. Use settings 

To shut the PC using the mouse then,

Click on the windows menu or press the windows button on your keyboard.

Select the power option in the start menu 

After clicking the power option click the shutdown down option.

3. Hard shutdown

To hard shut down the PC you just need to press the main power button on your keyboard for at least 10 seconds to hard shut down the PC.

4. Use command prompt 

If you want to shut the PC using the command prompt for any reason then open the command prompt by searching it in the windows search bar.

Once the command prompt is opened then type shutdown /s and press enter.

Once you press enter then windows will give a prompt window and tell you PC will get shutdown in less than minutes.
