How to Remove Chat from Windows 11

Want to remove chat icon from windows taskbar of windows 11 then follow below given steps to easily remove it,

Windows 11 added new chat application that give you ability to quickly access Microsoft team for meeting or any other work related to that, but in any case you won't use it frequently then it's good idea to remove it from taskbar.

To remove chat icon from taskbar,

1. Click on settings icon in windows start menu or press windows+ I

2. Click on personalization 

3. Select taskbar option 

4. Turn off the chat toggle located in right sidebar of taskbar settings 

Alternatively you can right click on desktop to access personalization settings much quicker.

Or right click on taskbar blank space and select taskbar settings if you have space in taskbar.
