How to View wifi Password in Windows pc

In this post, I will show you how you can easily find your connected wifi network password,

1. How to find WiFi password in settings ( windows 11 )

1. Open settings by pressing window+ I

2. Click on network and internet 

3. Select properties then click on the view button 

In Windows 11 there is an option to view the wifi password of the saved network by pressing any network name and then clicking on the view security key

2. How to find WiFi password in settings ( windows 10 )

1. Click on the start button and select settings 

2. Open network and internet 

3. Select the status section located in the left sidebar 

4. Click on the network and sharing center located on right most side of the settings 

5. Select connected wifi network 

6. A new tab will open then select the security tab and click on the show character to view the WiFi password.

3. View WiFi password using cmd

You can easily view your wifi password using the Windows command prompt application,

1. Open the command prompt by typing cmd in the Windows search bar and click on the run as administrator 

2. Type the below-given command ( netsh wlan show profile)

3. This command will show you a list of connected and saved wifi profiles. You need to select any wifi network name to view their password.

4. After selecting the name type this command ( netsh wlan show profile name= "wifi name" key=clear)

5. This command will show you details about that wifi network with their password.

6. Scroll down to see key content to view the WiFi password.
